The 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Monday near Chengdu, capital of the southwestern Sichuan province, flattening schools, factories and leaving more than 12,000 dead, according to an official count.
But that figure was expected to rise dramatically with at least 10,000 people buried under rubble in Sichuan's Mianzhu city alone.
First was Myanmar, now Sichuan, China.
My god, here we are leading such a peaceful and comfortable life and there, it is like a world of hell where thousands lost their live within seconds. I extend my condolences to those injured and to the families of the victims. I really dun feel good about this, I wish I could help and I pray hard that help will be given to those who are buried and alive under those debris.
