White samsung LCD and lotsa gross faces hanging on the wall. I realised Black eyed peas hang out in Le Fenix when they were in Bangkok. I am not kidding, I saw the picture they hung on the counter area.
And moreeee gross face. Its not very nice, kinda scary too. Haha...
Wine bar. Why would pple sit there in the morning where the sun shines in and you get really hot, you know greenhouse effect. Hehe...
In the airport after the custom, they even have a photo area so that pple can stand there and take the "i've been to thailand" kinda photo. I can see the point, tourism is like one of the main source that contribute to their economic.
Bangkok is the city that are so full of ang mohs and for once when I was in a shopping mall, I tot I was in Australia or US bcoz the whole mall is ANGMOHS ANGMOHS and moreee ANGMOHS. Except that the sales person is not an ang moh lah.
After shopping for a while in DFS, we saw a statue, a rather big statue.
Pulling and pulling the tail of some animal....
The other side was also pulling, oh, so the animal is a three headed snake, look ferocious!!
Then in the middle at the top, is that a purple hindu god?
And in the middle at the bottom is a what seem like a thousand yrs old turtle.
A signboard to explain the statue, it is actually a scene of the churning of the milk ocean.
Have you heard of this story before? I didn't thus I read on, I dunno if it is bcoz the English is too cheem or what bcoz I cant seem to understand what it means...

This scence depicts the Vishnu Kurmavatara and the churning of the Milk ocean. The naga (the king of serpents), Vasuki, is curled around the mountain Mandara. Vishnu, incarnated in the form of great turtle, supports the mountain on his back. Devas (demigods) and Asuras (demons) pull on the naga's body to churn the water of the ocean for thousands of years in order to produce the nectar of immortality, Amrita. From the churning, numerous opulent items are produced, including Dhanvantari carrying the pot of Amrita. In the end, the cooperation between the Devas and Asuras is shattered. The Devas, fulfil their plan of acquiring all Amrita, disperse the Asuras out of Heaven to the underworld.

After that, we went to have our lunch at a nearby Thai restaurant.
Thailand doesn't have mango salad ok! I've been to so many restaurants in Bangkok but none sell it. And the food and tom yam, trust me, Singapore is too nice to be true, things in Thailand is just very different. They put coconut milk into the tom yum goong, make it too thick and you get sick of it easily. Btw, that is a papaya salad and it was super spicy, though it seems sweet but no.
And I dun understand why they love to put uncooked veggies or whatever things beside the dish, it just puzzled me. Who would eat uncooked long bean?
My long Island iced tea. Hv been drinking alcohol when I was there bcoz it is much cheaper over there. This only cost me 10bucks.
My noodle. Told you, they love to put raw veggie beside the dish, that beansprout is not cook at all. And the noodle is cook with sugar. Its like the sweetest noodle I ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating anw, whenever I placed an order for noodle, it will surely be sweet.
Elle told me when she was dining at Siam Paragon, the waitress asked them where they were from. She was saying, "you guys eat a lot" when she found out they were from Singapore. Then Elle told me, the potion of the food is like soooooooooo small, how are they gotta be full. I mean its true, the potion is so small and the side is always with raw thingy that you wun eat. And Elle is a super skinny girl that doesn't eat much ok!
Anw, the meal at DFS was very expensive, S$130++. The food there is not cheap.
We went shopping to use up all the Thai bahts and ended up almost too late to board the plane. Kua Kua!
Cathy was delayed AGAIN. First was the Thai child who refuse to sit down, they took like 10mins to coax him, if it was me, I throw him out of the plane and second was the Cheena ladies who pull up the arm rest, lied down and sleep. God damn it man. I think that cheena ladies nv board a plane before?! It was horrible, I just wanna get home asap, why dun they just cooperate for a while man.
It just doesn't happen on SIA. Cathy sucks lah.
Home sweet home anw. I got home sick the few days I was in Bkk, at least now back home, I wun hv nightmare shouting at Taxi driver to go by meter.
