Satisfying my Thai food craving
at the Lemongrass which is situated at The Heeren.

I've been there twice and this is the third time I went.

The first time was good, second time was so-so while this time was a bit disappointing.

The food seems to change and the quality of the food has deteriorated by a little bit too much. You know, it doesn't really satisfy my craving.

The appetizer, prawn cracker with a special sauce. I like the sauce, sweet, sour and spicy.

Then was my favourite green mango salad. It is still very nice and I love it, sour and spicy and really make u drool. I hv too much excess saliva just by looking at the picture. Hee...

Thai style soft shell crab. Er... It doesn't taste like crab and a bit too oily which make you felt sick of it after a while. Bad bad...

Wahahaha... My favourite tom yum soup, it was really sour and could make ur gastric suffers but I only like tom yam soup that is really sour and spicy. I hate bland ones, that's why I really think this is good.

Thai Pineapple rice.
Hee... What is Thai food w/o the pineapple rice right? But the rice is a bit sad coz there isn't any ingredient inside except for some pathetic little piece of chicken and... it doesn't taste any pineapple-ish. Sad...

The honey chicken.
The first and second time we went, it was boneless chicken wings and drum stick stuffed with meat but this time we went, no longer boneless chicken wings but just fried chicken thighs that's all. Very sad.

Roast duck curry.
Special eh? Roast duck leh but it was really ordinary. And the curry was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo salty, I was shocked, cringed and swallowed it down. But thai curry suppose to be salty I think. And I wanted to order green curry but in the end decided to give the roast duck curry a try. Bad choice. Green curry is much nicer!
Then was the dessert time:
Their desserts weren't disappointing. All were nice and I like it. Especially the tapioca, it wasn't very sweet but just nice. :)
The food was still nice but weren't as nice as our previous visit. My favourites are the green mango salad and the Tom Yum soup and the rest of the dishes were so-so eh.
And I still think Amara Hotel has the best thai food.
Cant stop thinking of it man...
Tata... I go cook my dinner, cant stand it anymore.
