The Wonders of the Wanderluster

Last last night was crazy la. And a bunch of cam whore pple took like 80 over photos with my camera. GOSH! I nv seen such cam whore pple before and I was like "oh no pls... be careful of my camera!!" haha...

I am too lazy to upload the photo here. I am too tired after reducing the size of the photos and send it to them. And not forgetting that monster who kept pestering and haunting me for the photos. See it in my friendster if you really wanna see, hopefully I hv the time to upload it! This week has been crazily hectic!

This morning was watching Animal Asia on Animal Planet. Gosh! Its so sad and I teared while watching it. Its not that I am an emo kid, everyone knows I am not but its so bloody cruel. That episode is about moon bear.

In Asia, thousands of bears live a life of torture on bear farms, so that their bile can be extracted and used in Traditional Medicine to cure ailments ranging from headaches to haemorrhoids. Bears are confined in cages which vary from agonisingly tiny "crush" cages to larger pens, all of which cause terrible physical and mental suffering. Pls see below pic! (OMG! Imagine that the bear is so freaking big yet they live in such cages) But their torment does not end there.

The bears are subjected to painful methods of bile extraction which involve crude surgery to implant a steel catheter into the abdomen or the creation of a permanent hole in the abdomen known as the "free-dripping" technique. (GOSH! Imagine someone do that to you, the PAIN would hv kill me long time ago) Many bears die as a result of the unsanitary surgery and those that survive spend the rest of their lives suffering in pain and deprivation. Whilst the methods of farming bears for their bile vary across Asia and are continually 'evolving', ALL of them are incredibly cruel and totally unacceptable.



And some pple hv the cheek to say that human's life is much more precious than the Bear's life. Oh man! go fuck urself! WTH! There are so many substitute out there for Bear's bile, why do they hv to resort to such cruelty. You know, it sucks! And those bears are such poor thing, some dun even hv the chance to step on the grass in all their life.

Thank god! Animal Asia is an organisation which are fighting against such practise and saving the poor bear and give them really good environment to live in :) Man... After being treated so cruelly by human, the bears are still able to trust the human race againn. Its like OMG so forgiving! Imagine, you are being tortured for 20yrs and living in that bloody small cage, would you still forgive them? I swear I will nv!

However, very sadly there are still around 7000 Bears still suffering in China's bear farm. Not counting those in vietnam and Korea. I hate those sadist man! GOSH!

All the late night outings (which my mum just keep nagging at me) made me miss a lot of episode of Miami's ink! And there isn't any repeat la. So now the girl is there to work but why? Haiz... I miss it! And that girl is so cool man!

Miami's ink is such a cool documentary of the tattoo shop in south beach of Miami and the really-hardworking-cum-talented tattooists working in the store.

Weeeeeeeeee... Aren't they cool? :)

And my favourite of all tattooists is Ami James!!

Isn't he so cute? He has a sharp tongue, a hot temper and was born in Israel.

And also The Rookie, Yojiro.

He is actually the shop’s apprentice and He is also the lead singer of a punk rock band and he can only sing when he is naked! haha... that's funny! Japanese guys are all so cute!

An ang moh girl went in and wanted a spiritual tattoo; an angel that is carrying a baby bcoz she just had a miscarriage and lost her baby. oh so sad! But the tattoo is a symbolisation of moving on.

Another spiritual tattoo. The girl lost her friend as he passed away. A memorial of her friend and she chose one of the most painful area which is around the kidney area.

Another favourite of mine. Told you he is freaking talented.

I think this show will make a lot of pple change their perception of pple with tattoo. Come on la, why do others still think that pple with tattoo are all bad. Mad! I want to get one too. But must shed some fats first. Actually, I wanna get 4tattoos in different areas. But I think I will donate the money to the Bears first!
