Me and Jess went to watch Freedon Writer yesterday.
The story is about a teacher challenged by her own students who is divided into groups of Black, Latino and Asian gangbanger. The show is about the fight between different races and about the tragic past of each students. Each and everyday these teenagers are fighting "a war of the streets" that began long before they were born, getting thru the day alive is enough.
So many audience cried in the cinema bcoz it is such a touching show. The teacher has to work part time selling bra and working at the hotel so that she can buy story books for her student, bring them to exhibition and dinner bcoz the school is very unsupportive of her action.
In the end, she managed to touch all her student and the students were able to stay harmony regardless of their race. I like the movie, I like its originality and the way the movie is filmed. Go and watch it!
