It is suck a fucking sad show.

Set against the backdrop of the chaos and civil war in Sierra Leone during the year 1999. The rebel, Revolutionary United Front (RUF) is fighting against the Government to take over Africa, they made money by illegally exporting uncut diamond to purchase gun and arms. It involve so much death of innocents, some died a gruesome death, some were forced to work at the diamond field. Terrorist, Al-Qaeda has also believed to buy this uncut diamond to fund their world trade centre 9/11 attack. While the White supported the action by buying all these 'conflict' diamond and manufacture it into Jewellery that consumer is wearing now. Of course, not all women are educated about the fights behind all these beautiful diamond but if one purchase these conflict diamonds is equal to supporting the violence and the terrorist which changed the life of so many innocents.
Blood Diamond is about a story of Danny Archer (Leonardo Dicapro) an ex-mercenary from Zimbabwe and Solomon (Djimon Hounsou) a mende fishermen. Both of them are African but their histories and their circumstances are as different as any can be until their fates become joined in a common quest to recover a rare pink diamond, the kind of stone that can transform a life or end it.
Solomon, who has been taken from his family and forced to work in the diamond fields, finds the extraordinary gem and hides it at great risk, knowing if he is discovered, he will be killed instantly. But he also knows the diamond could not only provide the means to save his wife and daughters from a life as refugees but also help rescue his son, Dia, from an even worse fate as a child soldier.
Many of the children were forcibly recruited into the fighting force of the rebel. They have suffered egregious abuses: forced conscription into the armed groups; beating and other forms of torture; and psychological damage resulting from being forced to kill others. The girl soldier have suffered the additional humiliation of rape and sexual servitide, sometimes over period of several years. How sad the world can ever be. That's the reason why I hated spoilt kids that scream, cry and roll on the floor just bcoz their parents refused to buy them the latest toys. What about those children in the third world nation man? I used to like kids very much till my sis joined the World vision in year 2000 and that's when I was educated about the sad fact of third world nation's kids. Its seriously sad... Fucking sad. They have no choice and control of where they were born, no one wants to be in that state for fuck. I stop buying Nike when I found out that they fucking use child labour, dun give me shit that you are providing them a job so that their families have money to keep them alive. For god sake, the working condition is like fucking shit & harsh, chain their legs so they couldn't run away and abuse them.
So anw back to the movie, Archer, who has made his living trading diamonds for arms, learns of Solomon's hidden stone while in prison for smuggling. He knows a diamond like this is a once-in-a-lifetime find—valuable enough to be his ticket out of Africa and away from the cycle of violence and corruption in which he has been a willing player.
Enter Maddy Bowen (Jennifer Connelly), an idealistic American journalist who is in Sierra Leone to uncover the truth behind conflict diamonds, exposing the complicity of diamond industry leaders who have chosen profits over principles. Maddy seeks out Archer as a source for her article, but soon finds it is he who needs her even more.
With Maddy's help, Archer and Solomon embark on a dangerous trek through rebel territory. Archer needs Solomon to find and recover the valuable pink diamond, but Solomon seeks something far more precious which is his son.
The show started showing us how the rebel invaded and massacred a whole village, chopping innocent vitims' hands and sending those who are strong enough to the diamond mine. The rebel are bunch of heartless pple who dun see human as human, they just kill when they feel like it. Which I feel they were once a child soldier who got their mind poisoned. No wonder is M18.
There was one sentence in the movie that leave me with deep impression and tear in the eyes.
Leonardo was saying, 'Sometimes I wonder if God ever forgive us for what we've done to each other... Than I look around and I realized... God left this place a long time ago'
SO many times, we were disappointed by human. Not forgetting to mention, people of the same race and skin of the same colour were fighting against each other because of selfishness, greediness or even short-temperness? How sad the world can ever be man. Rich manipulate poor people, rich will become richer, poor will become even poorer and that's why there are pple wanna be terrorist and rebels bcoz they perceive it is the only way to stay alive.
I hate how this fucking world works.
Damn... So irritaing out of sudden, I became so bloody justice. At least there is me who still carries hope.
The trailer of Blood Diamond.
Although, I always make fun of how Leo is growing fatter each day and the size of his face will fill up the 42inch LCD TV soon, I mean as compared to when he was starring in Titanic who is still very boyish la, he is still one of my favourite actor. Look at his performance in Catch me if you can, Aviator and the english version of infernal affair. This time, blood diamond, his great acting skill and the so bloody real african accent plus ending every sentence with "huh" is so freaky can. He is just like a white African. Gosh! SO good la...
But in the end, he died which is such a sad thing. And the family separated, united and reunited is s fucking sad and touching.
If everything is gotta end, this place will be a paradise.
